"Sugoi.....Shimatta!"

Hey, who's hungry for body sush...I mean, sushi? (giggles) Nope, you heard me correctly the first time, as The Windy City is again conjuring national titilliation with the upscale eatery Kizoku, conveniently located at 358 West Ontario Street, beginning just over three weeks ago a special $500 all-you-can-eat dinner special in its private lounge, provided with not only the kappa ma and tekka maki you can handle, but also a nearly naked woman serving as a serving platter. Since its very first special, the restaurant logged 19 reservations! (giggles)



"Atsui!" LOL! This practice is commonly known as nyotaimori, or "body sushi". The temperature of the sushi often comes close to body temperature in this process, and, yep, they have it for men too (known as nantaimori) and I have to admit I have a lil' kinky fantasy of doing something like this just to get that thrill of oxygen in my blood, LOL!

You may ask, how does it feel to be in the skin of one of these exotic performers? The star herself of Kizoku is a 24-year old woman named Tabitha, a belly dancer from Las Vegas who wears a G-string, some cellophane, a few strategically placed seashells and little else, with the sushi placed atop bamboo leaves arranged on her thighs, stomach and chest area, which Tabitha says is "like wearing a leaf bikini." (giggles) She gets paid $100 plus tips each Sunday for each performance, and she answered some questions herself about how it is to be a human platter in Sunday's edition of the Sun Sentinel:

"It's more difficult than it looks. I have to concentrate on staying still and control my breathing," said Tabitha, echoing what some male customers will likely say.

Q What makes it difficult?

A It's all about muscle control, so the food doesn't fly off.

Q What do you think about while you're lying atop a table, nearly naked, for an hour and a half ?

A I can hear the diners and I listen to the music, but I'm in my own world.

Q How have the customers treated you?

A People are afraid to go, then they take pieces from my stomach first. The breast pieces normally are the last eaten. Maybe it's their nerves. It is borderline naughty.

Q Do you enforce any rules of etiquette?

A No tickling; don't be too funny. I don't want to laugh. Be good with your chopsticks--you don't want to drop anything. No forks!"

Joudan ja nai! (giggles) Oooohhhhh yeah, and in case you were questioning about body hair and quality of the food and such, along with the performer being trained to lie motionless for hours, all body hair is shaved and the woman bathes in a fragrance-free soap before service. (giggles)
